IRIS is a collaboration of original literature and visual art, including poetry, fiction and criticism. It aims to create a space for interdisciplinary artistic dialogue.
Printed using letterpress and risograph, IRIS celebrates traditional techniques of book production whilst fostering contemporary and innovative work. Like IRIS I, the second edition is hand-bound and each of the three hundred copies has its own individually marbled slip.
Continuing the theme from the previous edition, IRIS II features contemporary and generically diverse interpretations upon ‘Sense of Place’. From illustration, comix, criticism and poetry, IRIS features some of the best new writing and visual art from across the UK.
