Workshops & Lectures

At Hurst Street Press we are passionate about introducing people to books, whether their content or the objects themselves.

To this end, we organise workshops and lectures throughout the year that look into the processes that go into making a book. In the past this has taken the form of a hands on session that introduces people to modern marbling techniques, bookbinding or letterpressing, as well as talks and panel discussions that focus upon literary institutions and the networks of book production.

Whether you are an English teacher hoping to engage your students, a welfare officer looking for something a bit different to soothe exam stress, or an events manager, we’d love to hear from you and would be happy to help.
